🔥Arsenal have been brilliant so far
Arsenal thrashed Tottenham in the big London derby and inflicted a first league loss on their local rivals. The Gunners thus remain first in the standings one point ahead of Man City, while Tottenham have moved further away. Arsenal look confident, control the games, play with determination, don’t make easy mistakes like last seasons and outplay their rivals in most of the games. Smith-Rowe is out for the game, but there are no other major injuries.
😵 Liverpool can never recover
Liverpool with another sucker punch in the last round of the league. This time against Brighton. The Reds were 0-2 down at Anfield after 20 minutes, but at one point managed to make a complete turnaround in the 2nd half, only to concede a 3rd goal courtesy of Trossard who made a hat-trick. This leaves Klopp’s team in 9th place before the start of the round with just 10 points from 7 games. During the week the Reds won comfortably 2-0 against Rangers at home in the CL, but the team’s attacking performance looks shocking.
⏩ Arsenal have a serious advantage
Liverpool are not themselves at the moment. The strikers aren’t scoring enough, they’re in poor form and they’re not pressing the way they need to in order for the team to function well defensively. Obviously the problem in the team is psychological as most of the top players are out of form. With Arsenal it is the other way around and I think it will be extremely difficult for Liverpool to win at the Emirates. My bet is Arsenal to win either half at 1.72.
