Atletico Madrid – Sevilla, La Liga Prediction

Ever since losing to Real Madrid, Atletico have been playing much better and have not lost in 5 consecutive games. Problems with scoring goals, especially away from home, however, remain, and they were most clearly seen in the match against Espanyol, who finished 1-1, but Madrid were not particularly active in attack. At home, they have only 1 loss since the start of the season, and that is from Barcelona because of Messi. More importantly, they will play a game against Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday, which they will certainly think about.

Sevilla took two valuable wins in the last rounds, but the one over Getafe with 0-3 away was the most important and the most categorical. Hardly anybody expected such dominance from the Andalusians in such a match. Sevilla also have a match in Europe next week, but it seems that the Europa League is not as much of a priority for the team as it was years ago when they were with Emery.

 Expert view : It should be noted that Sevilla is a very strong guest and even has a stronger defense away from home than at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. This is because Sevilla are wary of their league visits. Undoubtedly the match will be very nervous and even. We do not expect a lot of goals, but even if we do, we think that in the first half the two teams will not be able to win and it will finish draw, which is a common practice in Atletico home games.
