ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION FOR CHELSEA - LIVERPOOL
Chelsea have virtually been eliminated of the Champions League, so there is one protocol game to play at the Allianz Arena in which they cannot win by 3 or more goals. Again the defense failed them in an incredible way on the weekend. Bournemouth have done whatever they want in the front positions in the 2nd half and it can be argued that the Chelsea period is the most difficult in the last 2 months.
Liverpool finally lost in the Premier League. This wasn’t expected to happen, or at least not against Watford, but here the Reds didn’t just play a weak game. They lacked any motivation and concentration and none of the players showed the familiar level. There were signs of such a thing because of the poor play of the Reds in all the games after the break, starting with Norwich, but now they have just collapsed.
Expert view : This loss from Watford will in no way prevent Liverpool from becoming the champion of England, which is the team’s big goal this season. It will only prevent them from improving dozens of records, but for Liverpool it seems much more important to try to get other trophies and to continue to dominate in the years to come than any record. Because at FA Cup, Klopp usually has a more experimental lineup, even though they are not only teenagers now, as they were against Shrewsbury, we expect them to concede, but we do not think they will miss to score goal. Once they are in this phase, it is normal for the Reds to think about winning the tournament as they have the strength to make it. Prediction – BTTS at 1.64.
Chelsea do not have a clean sheet in 8 consecutive games and in 4 of the last 5 have conceded at least 2 goals
Liverpool have not had a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge since 2011
