😐 Chelsea is in a very bad situation
Potter is not far from being sacked just a few months after being appointed to replace Tuchel. Only 1 win in the last 7 games. Sure, most of those games were against pretty strong opponents, but some were against Brentford, Brighton and Nottingham. The London Blues have not stopped looking for ways to improve as they are currently very close to transferring Enzo Perez from Benfica for a record fee, and have already secured Nkunku to come in for next season.
🙌Perfect time for Man City to capitalise on Arsenal’s mistake
Man City’s 2nd mistake in 3 rounds – another failure at home as this time the opponent was Everton. For the whole game the citizens only took one shot on target and that was the goal of Halland. Usually after a bad result City come back with a bang and score a couple of goals for a convincing win. This is a comfortable moment especially as they will have a chance to make up a bit those 2 points that Arsenal took as a lead in the last round, but yesterday against Newcastle they couldn’t win.
⏩Chelsea’s defence is too vulnerable for the Citizens’ strong attack
City are still without key figures like Diaz and Laporte in defence, although there is a chance for Laporte to play. That weakens them quite a bit in that area, but Chelsea aren’t brilliant defensively either in the absence of fundamental figures like James and Kante. Although the Chelsea vs City games have not been the most high-scoring in recent years, this time I expect it to be the other way around and there will be goals, but I’ll go with Man City who have scored at least 1 goal in all their league games so far, apart from the one against Liverpool. Prediction – Man City – Over 1.5 goals at 1.66.
