Derby County – Fulham, Championship Prediction

Derby County disappointed fans in last week’s game against Huddersfield, which once again proved that the Rams are simply not up to par this season. They can’t make it into the top 6 because they don’t deserve it and they aren’t good enough for anything like that. However, Derby has only 2 home losses for the entire season in the league, which is a good home record, but that should not scare Fulham, who have far bigger ambitions than the Rams.

The Cottagers were shocked by the loss to Barnsley in the last round at Craven Cottage. It was absurd considering that the guests had only 1 victory away from home so far, have the worst defense, and were last in the standings. Fulham’s performance was simply staggering. Of course, such matches are usually just a landing for the stronger teams, and we doubt Fulham will get into a serious crisis, though that’s exactly what happened at Leeds and WBA.

 Expert view : Whatever it is, we think that the fluctuations in the defense and the strong attacks of the two teams, as well as the fact that the Rams score their goals mostly at home, give us enough reason to look for goals in this match. It’s just that Derby plays offensively at home, which is helping for open football, especially against teams like Fulham who come to seek victory rather than defend themselves.
