Eintracht Frankfurt – RB Leipzig, DFB Pokal Prediction

Eintracht were not active at the transfer window and will spend the season with current players and then make big changes. There must be one, because Eintracht’s position in the standings is not enviable. The team is in the second half of the table and plays as mid table team. Overly important people have left the club in recent years. However, Eintracht always had a great game for the cup.

Leipzig, unlike Eintracht, was more active in the market. Quite a few players came, but more importantly, Demme left Napoli and Cunha was sold to Hertha. The attacking midfielder of Dinamo Zagreb, Olmo, was attracted to improve the creativity of the team. Leipzig is currently in rather poor shape, however. There was one equally weak period for the youngsters of Nagelsmann in October.

 Expert view : This is the perfect time for Eintracht to hit Leipzig. They did just that recently – about 10 days ago, beating them 2-0 in the Bundesliga. We are not sure if they will take the win in regular time, but we do not think it will lead to a victory for Leipzig or at least not a 2 goal difference in favor of the guests. It is important to note that Eintracht have not lost in 13 of their last 15 games in the German Cup, and in the other 2 they have lost by only 1 goal difference.
