FC Minsk – BATE Borisov, Premier League Prediction

Minsk lost last game to Energetik and as much as they tried, Energetik were too good for them in that clash. Minsk even stayed with a man more, but never scored. At home, however, Minsk are a completely different team and will certainly show much more in this match against BATE, which are not in their best shape already. Most recently, Minsk won such a valuable victory against its other local rival, Dinamo.

BATE finally won with a clean sheet against the strong team of Rukh Brest last round. What is more interesting is that BATE again did not impress with a serious dominance and may even be glad that the match did not finish 1-1. Borisov should get rid of this weak form as soon as possible. This will come with a few wins, but definitely the dynamics in their game are not the same as we are used to seeing.

 Expert view: We do not believe BATE to score a goal. They scored at least 1 goal even in their weak first three games. At the same time Minsk is a very strong host and with this BATE defense it is quite logical for the Vice Champions to allow at least 1 goal in such a match, so here we are relying entirely on BTTS odds of 1.80.
