Lille is a team that is an example of good management in France. We saw that Les Dogues parted with some stars in the summer, most notably Nicola Pepe, who was the main player in the team. However, we also saw a good performance by Lille in the Champions League groups, although they were eliminated. It was their first involvement, though. Separately, they manage to fight for the top 3 in France. Before the round Los Dogues were only 1 point behind Rennes.

Lyon were defeated by PSG on Wednesday for the Cup by 1-5. The result, however, does not reflect that much in the game. The reason for the loss was the expulsion of Marcelo and the penalty the Parisians received. After that, Lyon just collapsed and gave up. Now only the championship remained for Olympique. Of course, there is a PSG final for the other cup, but it is after a long time.

 Expert view : This match is even more important for both teams, because depending on its development, the fight for the top 3 may change. The reason is that Lille leads with 6 points of Lyon, who started the round in 5th place behind Les Dogues. If the home side win the match, the difference is 9 points and they can eliminate the kids from this battle. However, if the guests win, the fight will become even more unpredictable. We expect in this match, however the illogical, maybe, both teams to score at least one goal. Lille has an incredible attack and always scores at home, and Lyon is just in strong form and still has some class players. Prediction – BTTS at 1.95.
