Manchester United must make amends in front of their fans.
“The Red Devils” were knocked out by Brighton in the FA Cup and lost their last chance for a trophy this season. The nightmare is complete for them – this will be the season with the fewest matches played by the club since 1915: a total of 40 (38 in the Premier League, 1 in the FA Cup, and 1 in the Carabao Cup). Michael Carrick will make his Premier League debut as interim manager of the team, and we expect United to be compact in this match and rely on counter-attacks. “The Red Devils” usually perform strongly against their city rivals, and we expect them to score here as well.
City have several absences in defense.
“The Citizens” are without their regular center-backs – Gvardiol, Rúben Dias, and John Stones – which makes them vulnerable at the back. City have strengthened their attack with Semenyo, who scored 2 goals in his first 2 matches for the team. The attack of the “sky blues” is brilliant and very diverse – Haaland, Cherki, Foden, and Semenyo are impressive footballers, and we expect them to help City score against the shaken United side.
We are in for a battle with goals.
A fierce Manchester derby in which both teams are obliged to win – United to make amends in front of their fans, and City to continue chasing the title and avoid falling further behind Arsenal. We expect goals.
