👍Liverpool had little reason to rejoice after finally winning a game on Tuesday
Liverpool moved well away from the top 4, but that’s not the problem, it’s the team’s terrible play. The problems have been commented on far and wide. From the poor form of key players, to the worn out and unpressing midfield line, to the lack of motivation and lack of new signings. In any case, Liverpool are in a severe crisis and this is without a doubt the team’s worst season under Klopp. On Monday, however, the Reds played a good game against Wolves in the cup rematch and won 1-0 away.
ℹ️ Chelsea with a total overhaul of the squad since the winter
At Chelsea, the situation is not much different, but they have invested a huge amount of money on quite a few new signings this winter window, some of which will come in the summer. The Blues won their last game, which was a London derby with Crystal Palace at home 1-0, but both they and Liverpool are mid-table. Chelsea have the tricky task of winning at Anfield, where only Leeds have actually won in front of fans this season since 2017.
💯 Both 2 teams are in tragic form but we can look for corners for Liverpool
Goals in both nets seems a logical outcome here, but the odds aren’t worth it. I expect Liverpool to be the more dominant team considering the game is at Anfield, though. The team’s attack isn’t the most efficient, but I think there will be aggression and more corners. Especially in derbies the reds are quite motivated. My prediction here is Liverpool – Over 5.5 corners at 1.80.
