ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION FOR MAN CITY - EVERTON
Man City did not play well in the 1st half against Sheffield United. Before that, they lost with 2-3 to Wolves as a guest. It was a heavy loss, but to return to the match with Sheffield. In the 1st half a goal was canceled because of the ridiculous offside of the blades. In 2nd half, Guardiola made key tactical changes, leading to another game in which de Bruyne unleashed his potential. He assisted and scored afterwards to seal a 2-0 victory over Sheffield U.
Ancelotti started with 2 wins from 2 games while in Everton. Now they have no loss in 5 consecutive games. Their last one came in the local derby with Liverpool at Anfield, but then it was Silva. Obviously his sacking had an immediate effect. These players deserve a minimum of top 8 considering their class. Let’s not forget the Toffees program, which was very heavy in December. After their match with Man City, they will have much easier matches before the end of February, at least at paper.
Expert view : We think that psychologically, Everton is in a much better mood here. They know that they come to Etihad as a team that can win something and are not doomed. They are motivated, and at the same time, even if they lose, this will not be fatal. With City there is annoyance and even annoyance at times. Most of all, however, is the lack of concentration. We can give dozens of examples just from their match with Wolves. At this point, we do not see that much of a chance for City to maintain a clean sheet from Everton. Prediction – BTTS at 1.66.
Everton have not scored as a guest in only 3 away games in the league
City have already conceded as many goals in the league as they have allowed throughout the past season
