Barcelona are playing impressively in attack.
Barcelona are playing impressively in attack. The comfortable 5–0 win in the semifinal against Athletic Bilbao a few days ago confirms this. The team is in lethal form – 9 consecutive wins in all competitions, 5 straight clean sheets, and at least 2 goals scored in each of those matches. Barcelona know how to control the tempo and dictate the game, and it seems there has been progress in defense as well – the clean sheets prove it.
Real Madrid are inconsistent.
Unlike Barcelona, Real had problems in their semifinal against city rivals Atlético in the 2–1 victory. The “Royal Club” allowed as many as 22 shots on goal and were lucky not to concede an equalizer, with Courtois once again being the hero. In attack, Mbappé is doubtful and may get some minutes, but it is very unlikely he will play the full match, and without him the team looks completely different. Vinícius is in very poor form, while in defense Real will be without Militão, one of the team’s leaders.
We are in for a true “Clásico”.
An important final in the battle for the Spanish Super Cup, with both teams fully motivated. The quality on both sides is at the highest level, but Barcelona’s current form tips the balance in their favor, and we expect a victory for the Catalans.
