Leicester City – Aston Villa, Premier League Prediction

Leicester is not playing like they did lately. The team has problems organizing their attacks, and some of the main players are out of shape. We’re talking about Madison, and especially Vardy, who had some minor injuries. At the moment, it can be argued that the foxes are already in the battle for the top 4, as they previously seemed secure for the coveted places, but the poor results recently and the wins from their opponents mean that the difference is not so big right now.

Aston Villa did their best in the League Cup final against Man City, but that wasn’t enough. The citizens scored quick goals and it was clear that it would be very difficult for Villa to return 2 goals in the match. The most important thing for Villa is survival in the Premier League, and they are not doing well in this task. The losses from Bournemouth and Southampton in the last 3 rounds may prove fatal in the future, because it is precisely such games that Villa cannot afford to lose but does.

 Expert view : We expect Leicester to break loose and score goals at Villa’s shaky defense, but the guests have something to surprise Leicester, too. We are not convinced here that Leicester hold it, because of their hesitant form altogether and the problems they have in defense, and they were evident in the match with Norwich before. With these judgments our prediction goes to Over 2.5 goals at 1.55. It would be difficult to see a closed match at this point between these two teams.
