ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION FOR MANCHESTER UNITED - NEWCASTLE
Man United again failed in a match against a team from the second half of the table. It was even the last on the table, Watford. Yes, the Hornets have new coach, they have much better players than their league position suggests, but, after all, they are the last, and United have not even scored a goal. The Red Devils have very big problems against teams that play with less defense and leave them no space in the front positions.
Newcastle are in a great series without losing at home in the league since their first match against Arsenal in the 1st round of the season, and in their last 4 matches have recorded 3 wins. Definitely Steve Bruce has finally started enjoying his life in the North and fans are currently calm. It is not clear by which time it will continue, but the Magpies have at the moment come up with the right formula. In the last game, Almiron scored his first goal for Newcastle and it was a huge joy for him because he came to the team almost a year ago.
Expert view : We’ll bet on, perhaps, an illogical bet here in terms of Man United being a classier and more expensive squad. However, we expect them to concede again. 2 clean sheets since the beginning of the season. More importantly, Newcastle knows very well how to deal with the Red Devils right now. They were already beaten 1-0 in the first game. We think that nothing prevents them from scoring a goal at Old Trafford. They scored on Man City and Liverpool this season as well. Prediction – BTTS at 2.05.
