ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION FOR NEWCASTLE - LEICESTER
Newcastle United recorded just their second home loss in the league this season and their poor form continues. Already 3 losses in last 4 games. Magpies are one of the teams that are directly affected by tiredness. It is important to note here that this fatigue is also due to the big number of injured players for Newcastle, and they already have a short lineup. Of course, in terms of play they don’t do so bad. However, Newcastle are far ahead in the standings to be more comfortable with their survival.
Leicester never bowed to West Ham and took the 2-1 victory. Many expected a fox crisis after two consecutive losses and a decline in form, but nothing like that. Of course, we don’t expect Leicester to play at the same level in the next games as they did earlier, but we can still expect positive results from them. At least now their goal is crystal clear – not the title, but the top 4. We wrote that in the last analysis, but it’s important to know because players are much more relaxed when they know what they want at the end of the season rather than the workload with unrealistic expectations.
Expert view : Leicester does not cease to amaze in the front positions. In the last match, Rodgers made a bunch of changes. Vardy started on the bench and Iheanacho scored. Gray missed a penalty kick, but scored the second goal to secure the win for Foxes. Now we see even the width of the Leicester lineup. Against Newcastle, they are likely to do their best again, as they did against Liverpool. We expect a mandatory goal from them. The prediction here may be riskier, but Leicester is not one of the teams that often record clean sheets. We believe that the sorcerers have the power to get them at least once. Prediction – BTTS at 1.95.
Newcastle have not scored a home goal in just 2 league games
Leicester have only 3 clean sheets in the league
