Shakhtyor Soligorsk – Dynamo Brest, Belarus Cup Prediction

Shakhtyor Soligorsk totally outplayed Dynamo Brest and showed them that they are no weaker than them, even the opposite. This happened in the last round of the Premier League of Belarus, in which Shakhtyor won 2-0 against their opponent as a guest and will now host the same team in the cup rematch, but in the first game Dynamo took the win by 2-0 and for Soligorsk now the task will be quite complicated. However, the team does not cheat on its style and firmly bet on it in almost every match.

Dynamo’s defense is very volatile in some games, nothing to do with their game for much of last season in which they became champions. We will see how they will act after the cup games are over, but before they reach the final of the tournament they have to do their job here in Soligorsk. Dynamo is expected to close early and rely on press and counter attacks, which is the most logical approach in such a situation.

 Expert view:We think Shakhtyor have a slight advantage for the match, but whether they qualify for the final is another matter. This is much more difficult. However, we expect most of the action to be in the 2nd half. In this second half Shakhtar will put a lot of pressure, unless they lead 2-0 at halftime, which is doubtful, and we think they have the strength to score at least 1 goal in the 2nd half. So our prediction here is that Shakhtyor will score in the 2nd half at 1.75.
