West Bromwich – Newcastle, FA Cup Prediction

West Bromwich were shocked from the 0-1 defeat by Wigan, which no one expected, due to the good shape of the Baggies and the dominance they have shown in their matches lately. They may have thought of this fight with Newcastle, but this is not a serious excuse. However, the team has only 6 points more than the 3rd in the standings and Leeds can’t stop winning, so WBA will have some difficulties by the end of the season. In the last round for the FA Cup, Baggies eliminated West Ham with a 1-0 away win.

Newcastle is not in very good shape. Magpies had a tough time following last round’s draw against Oxford in the FA Cup as in the away game, which was a rematch of the first game, but in the extra time Newcastle won. This match was followed by 3 games with no goals scored for the Geordies and 2 losses in them. Newcastle’s main problems lie in its injuries.
